STONE STAIRS: The Tangga Batu Parliamentary Service Centre is a parliamentary constituency in Melaka chosen by the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to carry out the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine programme.

Member of Parliament for Tangga Batu, Bakri Jamaluddin said the constituency was chosen because it has had a good cooperation with the association for a long time.

"Melaka consists of six parliamentary constituencies. We (Tangga Batu Parliamentarian) according to them (NCSM) are among the first parliaments to have contact with this association in our efforts to help the people to get free HPV vaccines," he told Harakahdaily.

A total of seven NCSM volunteers, including a medical doctor, were involved in the programme which took place at the Tangga Batu Parliamentary Service Centre, in Tanjung Minyak Perdana, here today.
